The word pornography is a cultism of Greek origin. It is formed from πόρνη (pr. pórne), which means prostitute. This word is the feminine of πόρνος (pr. pornos), which refers to the ruffian who is the protector of the prostitute. In turn, πόρνος comes from the verb πέρννημι (pr.pérnemi), which means to sell.
In the beginning, pornography was a movement that fought against political oppression, romanticism, the Catholic Church, hypocrisy and censorship in general. People wanted to be free, to experiment, to be naked, to listen to their hidden desires, to be healed through disinhibition.
But in the six?es/seven?es, women still played a very subordinate role, since the LGBT movement took place in parallel with ‘sexual liberation’ in general, it was heterosexual and homosexual men who made films or published magazines, it was their fantasies that were mainly about domination and submission. This and the associated aesthetics have hardly changed in many decades. Thanks to the internet, children as young as eight now have access to porn. Never before have people consumed so much violent porn at such an early age and on such a massive scale as they do today.

Porn follows the principles of fascism, it is about dominance, submission, it is about fear of men losing their status in the world, their privileges. It is the depersonalization of women. Porn actresses pretend to feel great pleasure, in porn films all you hear is their moaning while two penises are rammed into their anus, for example.
Porn is treated as if it were a synonym for sex in general. It reflects our capitalist society and no longer has anything to do with an act of rebellion. Men want to be milked like cows; they want to ejaculate on women's faces. Men ejaculate while watching rape, teenagers think that violence is part of sexuality. Young girls dress in porn aesthetics.

To this day, most women do not know exactly what their own sexuality feels like, what it looks like, because it has always been distorted and subjected to male fantasies. The true shape of the clitoris has been known since ancient times, but has been ‘forgoben’ again and again and was only officially rediscovered in 1998! Everything in this world revolves around penises. What has impressed me most in my research is the fact that many of the young women I have spoken to about sexuality report wounds similar to those inflicted on me over 40 years ago.
The windows of the esquinanua room in Madrid are meant to represent the sketchbook in search of a different, more feminine sexuality. Sketches, fragments of the very personal vision of a woman who is no longer young and who, like many others until recently, was unaware of the dimensions of this catastrophe that is undermining gender equality by leaps and bounds.
